Cooper Vineyards

The quest to produce excellent wines, and to make the best wines possible from our vineyard drives our decisions. We believe that a small winery, with proper effort and diligence can make wines of distinction. Drinking wine, and the adventure of creating a vineyard and winery are a constant source of joy, wonder and fulfillment for us. The journey has brought us many lasting friends who have become part of the Cooper Vineyards family. From our dogs, who patrol the property and greet visitors, to our neighbors who know how to keep the tractors running to our festival volunteers who have learned to pour just the right amount, to our truly gifted Winemaker, Graham Bell, we have been fortunate to find the assistance we need to produce wines worthy of your consideration. Cooper Vineyards is located in Central Virginia in Louisa County. We are midway between Richmond and Charlottesville, eight miles north of Interstate 64 exit 148 on Shannon Hill road. Please include Cooper Vineyards in your recreation plans. Stop in and visit and try our wines, or make plans to attend one of our festival events.
