We are one of Virginia’s finest family owned and operated wineries. Our wines have won numerous awards and are considered some of the finest on the East Coast.


The name Amrhein means “on the Rhein” (Rhine) River. We specialize in Virginia-style wines with a German influence offering unique layers of fruit full of rich aroma. All of our distinctive wines are born from our Blue Ridge Mountain Estate-Grown vineyards in Virginia.


Our vineyards were first planted in 1995 and our first crush occurred in 1999.
