Winner of the San Francisco Gold Medal for Moscato, the Monticello Cup, and placements on the finest wine lists, Phileo projects a literally irresistible freshness. It is often praised for the expectations it defies -- it isn't cloying, it isn't syrupy. Effusively and gorgeously aromatic of roses and apricots, with an intriguingly light lusciousness, it is one of the most elegant and versatile dessert wines produced anywhere in the New World, and one of our most beloved. Chef Patrick O'Connell of The Inn at Little Washington presented Phileo for dessert on his guest appearance at Ferran Adria's equally esteemed E Bulli restaurant in Barcelona. Its claim upon the human smile is universal.

Raspberry wine made from the fruit grown on our farm blended with Merlot to make a firm and fruity not too sweet dessert wine. Barrel aged to marry the flavors and impart some oak character; this wine has fruit, spice, wood and sweetness. It's a real pleasure after dinner.

This late harvest Vidal Blanc is produced only in exceptional years. The near
perfect growing season allowed for extended hanging of the fruit and thus
produced some of the most flavorful and sweet grapes ever brought in from the
vineyard. The residual sugar of 11.5% along with the rich Muscat and apricot
aromas and flavors have made this a must for serving as an after dinner wine
with or without a complementing dessert. Complementing desserts include
cheesecake, fruit and lighter cheeses with French bread.

The Solera system of blending 3 vintages produces multiple layers of flavor, texture and depth. This port style wine is less sweet than an average port. It is textured and soft with hints of smoke, wood and red fruit. 375ml
